Clay Aiken’s announcement to People magazine was no surprise to most of us, and Lindsay Lohan didn’t make much news with her brief admittance to a relationship with Samantha Ronson on Loveline.

At 87, Dorothy (Del) Martin, passed away on August 27 in San Francisco. A world-renowned champion for civil rights, you may remember Del making recent history when she and Phyllis Leon, her partner of 55 years, became the first couple to be married in California just months ago.
